For legal entities, fines amount to up to 500,000 rubles, and for repeat violations \u2014 up to 1 million rubles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">The law also imposes penalties on owners of \u201cinformation resources\u201d for censorship of Russian citizens and the media. For legal entities, fines will amount to up to 1 million rubles, and for repeat violations \u2014 up to 3 million.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\">Earlier, penalties for violating the provisions of the sovereign Runet law <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/russia-proposes-fines-for-violations-of-the-sovereign-runet-law\">were proposed last year<\/a>.
