Dawn Fitzpatrick, chief investment officer of Soros Fund Management, said this in a Bloomberg commentary.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"twitter-tweet\\\">\n<p dir=\\\"ltr\\\" lang=\\\"en\\\">Dawn Fitzpatrick, head of the legendary asset management shop sees an \u2018inflection point\u2019 for <a href=\\\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Bitcoin?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\\\">#Bitcoin<\/a> and other <a href=\\\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/cryptocurrencies?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\\\">#cryptocurrencies<\/a>. The current environment is therefore a turning point for Bitcoin.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThis leads to real concerns that money issued by the state will be devalued,\u201d she noted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>For her, the chief investment officer defines Bitcoin not as a currency but as a traded commodity that is easy to store and transfer.<\/p>\n<p>She added that the infrastructure around cryptocurrencies is currently quite interesting, and Soros Fund Management is investing in it.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in March the Soros family office <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/soros-family-office-invests-in-lukka-a-crypto-data-provider\">invested in the crypto-data provider Lukka<\/a>.
