Ukrainian cryptocurrency exchange Kuna ranked 13th out of 30 in the country\u2019s top technology startups ranking, \u043c\u043d\u0435\u043d\u0438\u044e<\/a> Forbes.<\/p>\n

According to Forbes, the value of the trading platform stands at $50\u2013100 million. The investments put into it totalled $125,000.<\/p>\n

Kuna founder Mikhail Chobanian told ForkLog that the market value of the exchange is {{AOPEN_0}}adopted as a basis the draft law \u00ab\u041e \u0432\u0438\u0440\u0442\u0443\u0430\u043b\u044c\u043d\u044b\u0445 \u0430\u043a\u0442\u0438\u0432\u0430\u0445\u00bb{{ACLOSE_0}} began developing the strategy for the development of the virtual assets market<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“These are the figures we are using. We are preparing for expansion.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Chobanian added that the company will continue developing, changing the global economy.<\/p>\n

“The ultimate goal is to make it into the American Forbes, into the hundred largest companies in the world,” he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The current Forbes ranking includes three more crypto companies. The CEX.IO exchange, valued at $70\u2013120 million, ranked 11th.<\/p>\n

In 27th place is the blockchain marketplace DMarket, valued at $27 million with investments of $7.2 million.<\/p>\n

The decentralized domain registrar Unstoppable Domains sits in 28th place and is valued at $20\u201330 million, with investments of $5.2 million.<\/p>\n

“For companies that attracted investor funds, we relied on publicly available information about placements. Companies that did not attract external funds were valued using market-average indicators, information about their owners and Forbes editors’ calculations,”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u2014 the rating authors noted.<\/p>\n

According to Chainalysis’s September study, Ukrainians are the most active cryptocurrency users<\/a> in the world.<\/p>\n

On 2 December 2020, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, in the first reading adopted as a basis the draft law \u00ab\u041e \u0432\u0438\u0440\u0442\u0443\u0430\u043b\u044c\u043d\u044b\u0445 \u0430\u043a\u0442\u0438\u0432\u0430\u0445\u00bb<\/a>, regulating cryptocurrency operations on the territory of the country.<\/p>\n

In early March 2021, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, together with representatives from other agencies and the business began {{AOPEN_4}}developing the strategy for the development of the virtual assets market{{ACLOSE_4}}.<\/p>\n
