href=\"https:\/\/www.sec.gov\/rules\/sro\/cboebzx\/2021\/34-91521.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">\u0437\u0430\u044f\u0432\u043a\u0438<\/a> of WisdomTree Asset Management to launch an exchange-traded fund (ETF) based on the first cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n<p>The price of WisdomTree Bitcoin Trust shares will be calculated based on the CME CF Bitcoin Index, which includes quotes for Bitcoin on major spot trading platforms.<\/p>\n<p>WisdomTree intends to list the Bitcoin ETF on the Cboe BZX exchange under the ticker BTCW.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/wisdomtree-files-another-bitcoin-etf-application-in-the-united-states\">WisdomTree<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/vaneck-applies-to-launch-etf-providing-exposure-to-crypto-related-companies\">VanEck<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/nydig-files-to-launch-bitcoin-etf\">NYDIG<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitwise-files-new-sec-application-for-bitwise-crypto-innovators-etf\">Bitwise<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/sec-receives-new-bitcoin-etf-registration-filing\">Valkyrie Digital Assets<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/kryptoin-resumes-bid-to-launch-bitcoin-etf\">Kryptoin<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/skybridge-capital-and-first-trust-advisors-file-to-launch-a-bitcoin-etf\">SkyBridge Capital with First Trust Advisors<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/fidelity-files-to-launch-bitcoin-etf\">Fidelity Investments<\/a> have filed applications to launch a Bitcoin ETF.<\/p>\n<p>In March the regulator <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/sec-begins-review-of-vanecks-bid-to-launch-a-bitcoin-etf\">began reviewing<\/a> the VanEck filing.<\/p>\n<p>In February 2021, Canada <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/canada-registers-bitcoin-etf-ahead-of-the-united-states\">registered<\/a> the first Bitcoin ETF in North America. <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/brazil-becomes-the-second-country-in-the-world-to-approve-a-bitcoin-etf\">followed suit<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce said <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/sec-commissioner-hester-peirce-market-ready-for-bitcoin-etp-launch\">the market was ready to launch a Bitcoin ETF<\/a> based on the first cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n<p>Morgan Creek&#8217;s CEO Mark Yusko <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/opinion-the-sec-is-certain-to-approve-a-bitcoin-based-etf\">expressed strong confidence<\/a>
