This, according to <a href=\\\"http:\/\/www.lessentiel.lu\/fr\/news\/grande_region\/story\/un-ex-espion-du-srel-arrete-a-audun-le-tiche-18401548\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noopener\\\">L\u2019essentiel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He was arrested on the basis of an international arrest warrant issued by a New York court.<\/p>\n<p>According to investigators, as a OneCoin partner, Schneider recruited the law firm Carter-Ruck and reputation-management firm Chelgate to pressure the United Kingdom&#8217;s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Subsequently, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/onecoin-lawyers-win-removal-of-pyramid-warning-from-uk-regulator\">as a result, the regulator removed the warning about the OneCoin pyramid<\/a> from its site, which OneCoin representatives used for PR campaigns.<\/p>\n<p>In 2019, Frank Schneider appeared before a New York court on charges of money laundering and acting as an informant for OneCoin.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier he was implicated in a case involving wiretapping by Luxembourg&#8217;s national security service.<\/p>\n<p>He could be extradited to the United States in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>The damage from the OneCoin pyramid is estimated at no less than <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/hearing-in-onecoin-co-founders-case-paused-for-three-months\">$4 billion<\/a>.
