About this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomshardware.com\/news\/bitmain-readies-5nm-mining-asic?utm_campaign=socialflow&#038;utm_source=twitter.com&#038;utm_medium=social\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u0441\u043e\u043e\u0431\u0449\u0430\u0435\u0442<\/a> Tom\u2019s Hardware.<\/p>\n<p>TSMC plans to begin production in the third quarter of 2021 and to substantially increase output for Bitmain in the first quarter of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>TSMC&#8217;s N5 manufacturing process provides industry-leading transistor density and energy efficiency. Analysts expect that this will boost not only the hash rate of ASIC miners but also their price.<\/p>\n<p>Back in <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitmain-co-founder-announces-sale-of-5nm-chip-miners\">\u0432 \u0441\u0435\u043d\u0442\u044f\u0431\u0440\u0435 2020 \u0433\u043e\u0434\u0430<\/a>, one of Bitmain&#8217;s founders, Micree Zhan, announced plans to release miners based on 5-nm chips <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitmain-co-founder-announces-sale-of-5nm-chip-miners\">?<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2021, the company announced the release of the ASIC miner <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitmain-unveils-ethereum-mining-asic\">Antminer E9 for Ethereum mining<\/a>.
