In a comment to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/china-babel-funding\/babel-finance-raises-40-mln-as-interest-grows-in-asian-crypto-idUSL4N2MX3F6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Reuters<\/a> he noted that the fresh capital did not lead to an increase in free cash flow, but allowed partnerships with players in the traditional financial sector.<\/p>\n<p>The raised funds will be used by Babel Finance to obtain relevant licenses in jurisdictions worldwide, including North America and Europe. This will enable the company to offer cryptocurrency products to institutional investors.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cBabel Finance aims to become a global provider of services, on a scale comparable to our US counterpart\u2014 DCG [Digital Currency Group],\u201d stated co-founder Del Wang.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As of February 2021, the company served more than 500 institutional clients.
