The trademarks UNISWAP\u00ae, UNI\u2122 and UNISWAP LABS\u2122 belong to <a href=\"https:\/\/uniswap.org\/trademarks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Uniswap Labs<\/a>, the company behind the trading platform.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Web Archive, until 2017 the Uniswap.com site <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20171202194233\/http:\/\/uniswap.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hosted an online marketplace for exchanging goods<\/a>. It had not operated since 2018 <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20210501052935\/https:\/\/uniswap.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">and did not resume until early May 2021<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As of now it is unknown who owns the Uniswap.com domain. In March, a similar traffic redirect was recorded on Pancake.com.<\/p>\n<p>In February, the venture-capital firm Future Fund <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/sushiswap-secures-sushi-com-domain\">acquired the domain sushi.com<\/a> for DEX SushiSwap. It is configured to redirect from the domains sushiswap.fi and sushiswapclassic.org.<\/p>\n<p>In March 2021, attackers <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/cz-urges-users-to-refrain-from-interacting-with-pancakeswap-and-other-bsc-projects-amid-dns-hijack-attack\">gained access to the domain-name system<\/a> of a number of projects built on the Binance Smart Chain to inject malicious elements into their interfaces.
