{"id":42326,"date":"2021-05-12T11:44:20","date_gmt":"2021-05-12T08:44:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=42326"},"modified":"2025-08-30T22:43:35","modified_gmt":"2025-08-30T19:43:35","slug":"nydig-half-of-americans-interested-in-bitcoin-based-life-insurance-payouts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/nydig-half-of-americans-interested-in-bitcoin-based-life-insurance-payouts\/","title":{"rendered":"NYDIG: Half of Americans Interested in Bitcoin-Based Life-Insurance Payouts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>46 million Americans (about 17% of the adult population) have invested in Bitcoin, and one in two is ready to receive life-insurance payouts in the first cryptocurrency. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/46-million-americans-now-own-bitcoin-crypto-goes-mainstream-1590639\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NewsWeek<\/a>, citing NYDIG&#8217;s survey results.<\/p>\n<p>The New York Digital Investment Group (NYDIG), a platform focused on large players, drew a sample with a 3.1% margin of error from 1,050 investors earning at least $50,000 a year.<\/p>\n<p>Seventy-five percent of respondents said they were open to exploring life-insurance with Bitcoin payouts or other annuity-based products built on it.
