The service has not supported deployment of new projects since 10 May. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The platform&#8217;s clients include the financial holding company JPMorgan, the Starbucks coffee chain, and Singapore Airlines. Users have been asked to migrate their data to other providers. <\/p>\n<p>Reasons for the closure have not been disclosed. As an alternative, Microsoft recommends using ConsenSys&#8217;s Quorum Blockchain Service, with which it collaborates.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">ConsenSys and Microsoft are working hard to keep developer focus on innovative use-cases and time-to-value when deploying Blockchain applications. The platform will allow them to create \u2018multi-cloud blockchain services\u2019 and solutions for transferring confidential transactions.<\/p>\n<p>In August 2020, ConsenSys <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/consensys-acquires-jpmorgans-quorum-blockchain-platform\">acquired Quorum<\/a> from JPMorgan. As part of the deal, the bank made a strategic investment in the company.<\/p>\n<p>Back in April 2021, JPMorgan, together with the DBS Group and Temasek, began <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/jpmorgan-dbs-and-temasek-to-build-blockchain-platform-for-interbank-payments\">developing an open industry blockchain platform<\/a> for interbank payments, trading and settlements in foreign currency.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Microsoft will shut down the Azure Blockchain Service cloud platform on 10 September 2021.
