The company was also backed by TCV, Thrive Capital, Accel, Founders Fund, Creandum and Project A.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Trade Republic offers clients trading of fractional shares and exchange-traded funds. In April 2021, in the app <a href=\\\"https:\/\/traderepublic.com\/en-de\/products\/crypto\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\\\">\u043f\u043e\u044f\u0432\u0438\u043b\u0430\u0441\u044c<\/a> the ability to trade Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>The company operates in Germany, France and Austria. According to the press release, Trade Republic manages assets valued at more than \u20ac6 billion. Over the past 24 months its user base has grown to 1 million, half of whom had not previously invested in the capital markets.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with <a href=\\\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2021\/05\/20\/berlins-trade-republic-nabs-900m-led-by-sequoia-at-a-5b-valuation-to-take-its-neo-broker-app-across-europe\/\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\\\">TechCrunch<\/a>, Trade Republic co-founder Christian Hecker said the fresh funding would be used for international expansion.
