The celebration stems from a landmark event for the industry, when in 2010 programmer Laszlo Hanyecz bought two pizzas for 10,000 BTC. At the time of writing they were worth about $360 million.<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, the community marks Bitcoin Pizza Day for the 11th time. ForkLog has gathered greetings and promotions for the occasion.<\/p>\n<p>The data analytics service CoinGecko&#8217;s team congratulated its followers and issued a non-fungible token (NFT).
