The remark was reported by <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2021-05-31\/crypto-assets-a-great-concern-says-central-bank-enforcer?sref=rChPnUxs\\\">Bloomberg<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p>&#8220;Crypto assets are quite speculative, unregulated investments. [Investors] should realise that they may lose all their invested funds,&#8221; said Rowland.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She also expressed &#8216;serious concerns&#8217; about the growing popularity of Bitcoin and other digital assets.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, in a new ECB report <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ecb-sees-limited-risks-to-financial-stability-from-cryptocurrencies\">called<\/a> the risks to financial institutions from digital assets were described as &#8216;limited&#8217;.
