{"id":43491,"date":"2021-05-31T17:52:25","date_gmt":"2021-05-31T14:52:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=43491"},"modified":"2025-08-31T03:54:33","modified_gmt":"2025-08-31T00:54:33","slug":"japanese-bitcoin-exchange-coincheck-to-conduct-ieo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/japanese-bitcoin-exchange-coincheck-to-conduct-ieo\/","title":{"rendered":"Japanese Bitcoin Exchange Coincheck to Conduct IEO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The cryptocurrency exchange Coincheck <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monexgroup.jp\/en\/news_release\/irnews\/auto_20210531434708\/pdfFile.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">will conduct<\/a> a pilot for Japan <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-an-initial-exchange-offering-ieo-and-how-does-it-differ-from-an-ico\">initial exchange offering (IEO)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the summer, the trading platform will list for sale cross-chain Hashpalette (HPT) tokens, aimed at NFT creation.<\/p>\n<p>Coincheck signed a partnership with Hashpalette in August 2020.<\/p>\n<p>HPT will be the first token issued as part of an IEO on the Japanese crypto market.<\/p>\n<p>The proceeds from the sale of tokens will be used to further develop its blockchain.<\/p>\n<p>Coincheck announced plans to launch a platform for conducting IEOs in August 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Regulation of Japan&#8217;s cryptocurrency market was enacted in May 2020.
