For this reason, the tokens are legitimate in the European Economic Area.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;We are changing the paradigm and setting new standards in the industry&#8221;<\/em>, said FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried in an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/robinhood-ipo-sec-crypto-business-delays\">CoinDesk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to the blog, the shares are tokenized on the Solana blockchain. In the future the service will enable withdrawals as well as cross-chain or external transfers.<\/p>\n<p>Solana-based decentralized exchanges and centralized platforms will be able to list these instruments.<\/p>\n<p>In October 2020, FTX<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ftx-adds-tokenised-shares-of-apple-tesla-and-amazon-to-listing\"> launched<\/a> trading of tokenized securities Apple, Tesla and Amazon in partnership with CM-Equity.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in April, the cryptocurrency exchange <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-to-list-tokenised-tesla-shares\">Binance<\/a> announced the listing of tokenized shares.<\/p>\n<p><span data-descr=\"Germany's Federal Financial Supervisory Authority\" class=\"old_tooltip\">BaFin<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bafin-flags-potential-binance-breaches-in-tokenised-stock-service-launch\">warned<\/a> investors about possible violations of securities laws by the platform. The regulator said that there were no necessary prospectuses.
