That everyone who truly loved John is feeling. I have been struggling to write this tweet since the news of John&#8217;s death. I still cannot believe he is really gone. I miss you and I will love you forever John David. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/FnmpaCWxCO\">pic.twitter.com\/FnmpaCWxCO<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Janice McAfee (@theemrsmcafee) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/theemrsmcafee\/status\/1412464049338658818?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 6, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>75-year-old entrepreneur <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/john-mcafee-found-dead-after-extradition-ruling-to-the-united-states\">was found dead<\/a> in a prison cell a few hours after the Spanish Supreme Court authorised his extradition to the United States.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement posted on Twitter, Janice noted that the court&#8217;s decision was not unexpected for John and could not have driven him to despair. In their last conversation they discussed plans for the next stages of the legal battle.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe extradition would not have happened immediately; it would have taken at least many months,\u201d added the widow.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She said John was prepared for the ensuing fight.<\/p>\n<p>Janice McAfee stressed that the media reported the entrepreneur&#8217;s suicide before she or his lawyer had registered his death.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cI cannot describe in words how furious I am to have learned of John&#8217;s death from a Twitter post,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Media also claimed there was a \u201csuicide note\u201d that was not mentioned when she collected McAfee&#8217;s belongings from the prison, Janice noted.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe investigation into John&#8217;s death is still ongoing, but I will share any information I can. For now I disagree with the \u2018suicide\u2019 tale spread by mainstream media, which are a malignant cancer. They and their unnamed sources cannot be trusted,\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>McAfee <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/sec-files-suit-against-john-mcafee-he-has-been-arrested\">was arrested in October 2020<\/a> in Spain at the request of US authorities. The Securities and Exchange Commission charged the entrepreneur with deceiving investors in promoting ICO projects, and the Justice Department charged him with tax evasion.
