This is reported in <a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/mettalex.com\/blog\/july-14-launch-of-mtlx-rewards-for-mettalex-dex-markets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the trading platform&#8217;s blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Yield farming on Mettalex works as follows:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Users deposit into the exchange in Binance USD (BUSD);<\/li>\n<li>The exchange automatically converts the funds into mxBUSD;<\/li>\n<li>Traders choose a liquidity pool and lock mxBUSD in it;<\/li>\n<li>Mettalex pays them rewards: a share of traders&#8217; trading fees and MTLX tokens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The returns on BUSD investments exceed those of competitors by at least 2.5x.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/0va-GZ7c3q68y4VnhnY3X4aNYM6AC9wpizXWvUlMTNZUzuST3klf3vwKgo2Z_heAWUMZB5A9ZAs_x4d6O2Zo3eGUoBCI3xO9_GoeWRG0ynTXsd0Qztaza7sOKgnGdCRoATqtiN-Y\" alt=\"Mettalex launches yield farming\"\/><figcaption>Annual yield on a BUSD investment in the farms and pools of BlockFi, Celsius, AAVE, Curve and Mettalex. The project&#8217;s target yield is 0.15 MTLX per day for every $1,000 locked.<\/p>\n<p>Concurrent with the launch of yield farming, Mettalex opened five markets:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Copper \u2014 tokenised copper;<\/li>\n<li>Steel Scrap \u2014 tokenised steel scrap;<\/li>\n<li>$BNB \u2014 Binance Smart Chain token;<\/li>\n<li>$MATIC \u2014 Polygon L2 solution token;<\/li>\n<li>$ETH \u2014 Ethereum token;<\/li>\n<li>BTC\/GOLD \u2014 a token that tracks the price of Bitcoin relative to gold.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a class=\"tracking_link\" href=\"https:\/\/mettalex.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mettalex<\/a> \u2014 decentralised derivatives exchange. Traders on Mettalex open long and short positions on tokenised assets collateralised in stablecoins. This enables them to profit from short selling of cryptocurrencies and commodities such as oil, gas and metals.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, ForkLog held an AMA with Mettalex CEO Humayun Sheikh.
