He has already learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming languages.<\/p>\n<p>In early 2021, the teenager&#8217;s attention was drawn to non-fungible tokens.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;I was fascinated by the idea of transferring ownership via the blockchain,&#8221; Ahmed said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>With online tutorials and mentors from Discord communities, the schoolboy learned to code NFTs.<\/p>\n<p>His <a href=\"https:\/\/opensea.io\/collection\/minecraft-yee-haa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">first standalone collection<\/a> of 40 pixel avatars was inspired by the game Minecraft. However, it did not find much traction with buyers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/opensea.io\/collection\/weirdwhales\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The second series, titled Weird Whales<\/a> consisted of 3,350 unique pixel whales inspired by the popular CryptoPunks NFTs. The teenager earned more than 80 ETH (over $255,000 at current prices). Further token resales earned him an additional 30 ETH (over $95,000) in royalties. Total earnings have already surpassed $350,000 and continue to rise.<\/p>\n<p>Ahmed keeps all of his profits in cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;I plan to hold Ether and not convert it into fiat money.
