The platform operates on its own L1 blockchain, HyperEVM, which ensures high performance and low fees.<\/p>\n<p>The impressive figures have attracted institutional interest. Recently, 21Shares <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globenewswire.com\/news-release\/2025\/08\/29\/3141292\/0\/en\/21Shares-Launches-First-ETP-Tracking-Hyperliquid-the-Market-Leader-in-Decentralized-Perpetuals.html\">launched<\/a> an exchange-traded product based on Hyperliquid on the Swiss stock exchange SIX.<\/p>\n<p>The platform also draws speculators. In August, a major investor allegedly <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/sudden-surge-in-xpl-premarket-price-leads-to-17-million-in-liquidations\">manipulated<\/a> the XPL token in the futures market. A sharp price spike led to losses for other traders.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In response, the Hyperliquid team implemented updates to protect users. The platform limited price deviation from the eight-hour exponential moving average to tenfold.
