The organisation explained the decision to launch the new product was driven by client demand.<\/p>\n<p>The platform will also host informational and educational content dedicated to cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.<\/p>\n<p>BTG Pactual is the largest investment bank in Latin America and the Caribbean. In 2019, the firm and Dubai-based asset manager Dalma Capital announced that they would use the Tezos blockchain for <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-security-tokens-and-security-token-offerings-stos\">STO<\/a> worth more than $1 billion.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2021, the cryptocurrency exchange <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/gemini-to-act-as-custodian-and-trading-partner-for-btg-pactuals-brazilian-bitcoin-fund\">Gemini \u0441\u0442\u0430\u043b\u0430 \u043f\u0430\u0440\u0442\u043d\u0435\u0440\u043e\u043c \u0431\u0438\u0442\u043a\u043e\u0438\u043d-\u0444\u043e\u043d\u0434\u0430<\/a> BTG Pactual. The company will provide custodial and trading services to the structure.<\/p>\n<p>In August, the president of Brazil&#8217;s Central Bank, Roberto Campos Neto, spoke in favour of <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/brazilian-central-bank-backs-crypto-regulation\"> creating a regulatory framework<\/a> for the crypto industry.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Brazil <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/brazil-becomes-the-second-country-in-the-world-to-approve-a-bitcoin-etf\"> became the second country in the world<\/a> to register a Bitcoin ETF.
