As of this writing, there were no official statements from the company on the matter.<\/p>\n<p>The licence will allow Revolut to compete with the likes of Robinhood and Square in retail trading.<\/p>\n<p>Storonsky added that the company would create a single app through which &#8216;people can manage all aspects of their finances\u2014from banking operations and currency exchange to trading cryptocurrencies and stocks.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>According to Ron Oliveira, head of the US unit, Revolut is currently testing a service that will allow users to buy <span data-descr=\\\"exchange-traded fund\\\" class=\\\"old_tooltip\\\">ETF<\/span> and stocks of companies listed on the <span data-descr=\\\"New York Stock Exchange\\\" class=\\\"old_tooltip\\\">NYSE<\/span> and Nasdaq. It is expected to become available within a few months.<\/p>\n<p>In July, Revolut <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/online-bank-revolut-raises-800m-at-a-33bn-valuation\">raised $800 million at a valuation of $33 billion<\/a>.
