The National Development and Reform Commission of China pointed to the mining&#8217;s negative environmental impact and its &#8216;negligible&#8217; contribution to the economy.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after, Binance and Huobi <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-and-huobi-halt-new-user-registrations-in-mainland-china\">stopped registering<\/a> new users from China.
