The project is being carried out in collaboration with the Central Bank of Tajikistan. The future CBDC platform will also integrate the Iron Bank protocol.<\/p>\n<p>After initial testing of the digital currency, Orienbank and Fantom plan to continue the project within the Tajikistan central bank&#8217;s sandbox.<\/p>\n<p>In April, the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the republic <a href=\"https:\/\/fantom.foundation\/blog\/fantom-to-power-e-government-infrastructure-of-tajikistan\/?__cf_chl_jschl_tk__=pmd_lLPpX3y87uuv0fNaDGs9ooqPhnQrPUf3mnfnoHzwBIg-1632811028-0-gqNtZGzNAiWjcnBszQjR\">entered into an agreement<\/a> with Fantom Foundation to use its blockchain solutions for the operation of the e-government infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>Note that the status of cryptocurrencies in Tajikistan <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/between-prohibition-and-development-how-central-asia-regulates-cryptocurrencies\">not regulated<\/a>.
