We would like to confirm that 5,152.6 ETH has been recovered,&#8221; they said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>On August 30, the DeFi protocol Cream Finance <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/hackers-drain-more-than-18m-from-cream-finance-defi-protocol\">was subjected to an attack<\/a> using <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-flash-loans\">an instant loan<\/a>. The damage amounted to 462,079,976 AMP and 2,804 ETH (more than $18 million).<\/p>\n<p>Two security researchers operating under the handles losslessdefi and pcaversaccio helped Cream Finance trace and identify the hacker.
