On October 2, the number of active addresses in the network of secure L2-solutions<\/a> Polygon for the first time surpassed the corresponding figure for Ethereum \u2014 566,516 vs 527,158.<\/p>\n

Over the last 30 days, the former rose by 168%, the latter by 0.6%.<\/p>\n

Analyst known by the nickname RaphaelSignal \u043d\u0430\u0437\u0432\u0430\u043b<\/a> explosive growth of the NFT<\/a> trader audience on Polygon. According to his calculations, on the popular marketplace OpenSea since July their number has risen 45.5-fold, and the number of tokens sold 17.5-fold.<\/p>\n

As another factor, he cited growth in GameFi<\/a>. The analyst cited data for the game project Arc8 \u2014 daily active users reached about 104,000.<\/p>\n

Over the last 30 days Polygon also surpassed<\/a> Binance Smart Chain in transaction volume.<\/p>\n

The native token of the MATIC project sits at 22nd in the CoinGecko<\/a> ranking. For the previous seven days it rose by 12.4%, showing eighth place in the top 30.<\/p>\n

In September, the digital asset manager Osprey Funds launched<\/a> a MATIC-based trust.<\/p>\n

In the same month, audit firm Ernst & Young added support<\/a> for the Polygon protocol and framework when developing its own Ethereum-based solutions.<\/p>\n
