The listing could take place within the next year.<\/p>\n<p>A valuation of &#8220;several billion pounds,&#8221; according to the press, would make Bitfury the largest cryptocurrency firm in Europe.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-text-wrappers-update-2 article_update\"><time class=\"gtb_text-wrappers_update_time\">October 18, 2021 | 11:01<\/time><span class=\"gtb_text-wrappers_update_head\">Update: <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Executive director Vadim Krutov of Bitfury Group, in a comment to ForkLog, clarified that the most recent financing round of $80 million closed in 2018, when the company was valued at $1 billion.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cBitfury will consider the possibility of an IPO among opportunities to support the group&#8217;s further growth,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>However Krutov added that the timing and venue for the listing remain undecided.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>In 2020, Bitfury Holding BV&#8217;s subsidiary and state-owned Energoatom signed a memorandum<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitfury-signs-deal-to-build-mining-centre-in-ukraine\"> for the construction of data centres<\/a> on the territory of Ukraine&#8217;s nuclear power plants.<\/p>\n<p>Later it became known that<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitfury-selects-site-for-ukrainian-data-center-at-a-nuclear-power-plant\"> the facility would be built in the city of Varash<\/a>, where the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant is located.
