The head of Roskomnadzor, Andrey Lipov, said this, according to <a href=\\\"https:\/\/tass.ru\/ekonomika\/12701201\\\">TASS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the tests are aimed at assessing the resilience of communications networks to failures:<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p>\\&#8221;The exercises showed that we are ready for this to operate stably and securely under any external influence.\\&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Lipov noted that operators and other industry representatives participated in the exercises. The identity of those involved was not specified.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>The law on the sovereign Runet took effect in Russia on 1 November 2019.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>First exercises were held in December of the same year. In 2020 they were repeatedly <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/russia-cancels-third-sovereign-runet-drill\">postponed<\/a>.
