According to <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/crypto-settlement-startup-copper-in-talks-for-500m-funding-2021-10\\\">Business Insider<\/a>, the amount raised could reach $500 million, with a valuation of $2.5 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The process is expected to be completed by the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>In May the firm <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/london-based-copper-raises-50m-in-series-b-funding\">raised $50 million<\/a> from Target Global and Dawn Capital. In June the custodian <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/billionaire-alan-howard-invests-25-million-in-copper-the-london-custodian\">received an additional $25 million<\/a> from Brevan Howard Asset Management of Alan Howard.<\/p>\n<p>Copper provides prime-brokerage services, as well as settlements and custody. In the latter case the firm employs multi-party computation (MPC).<\/p>\n<p>According to the service, it serves the interests of around 400 institutional investors.
