The experiment <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=AzTgrR1ug4U\">conducted<\/a> by the YouTube channel Dizzy Mining.<\/p>\n<p>The hash rate and power consumption of the card were 41 MH\/s and 66 W, respectively. For comparison, researchers used <a href=\"https:\/\/wccftech.com\/amd-radeon-rx-6600-non-xt-graphics-card-to-offer-27-mh-s-in-ethereum-mining-at-stock-over-30-mh-s-with-custom-tuning\/\">data on the performance of the AMD Radeon RX 6600<\/a>, which in Ethereum mining reaches around 30 MH\/s.<\/p>\n<p>The overclocking setup involved a core clock increase of 100 MHz and memory by +1500. The tests used devices manufactured by PNY.<\/p>\n<p>The results were as follows:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>AMD RX 6600 XT (overclocked): 33 MH\/s at 55 W (0.59 PPW)<\/li>\n<li>AMD RX 6600 Non-XT (overclocked): 30 MH\/s at 50 W (0.61 PPW)<\/li>\n<li>Nvidia RTX A2000 (overclocked): 41 MH\/s at 66 W (0.62 PPW)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>RTX A2000 is based on the Ampere GA106 GPU. For operation the device uses 3,328 cores and 6 GB of GDDR6 memory, accessible through a 192-bit data bus. It also has 104 <span data-descr=\"deep learning operations\" class=\"old_tooltip\">tensor<\/span> cores and 26 <span data-descr=\"hardware-accelerated ray tracing\" class=\"old_tooltip\">RT<\/span> cores.<\/p>\n<p>The Nvidia RTX A2000 is set to go on sale in December. The recommended price is $649.99.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in August, photographs surfaced of the first specialized <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/images-of-amd-mining-gpu-leaked-online\">graphics card AMD for cryptocurrency mining<\/a>. The unnamed device was produced by XFX.
