CCID specialists noted progress Ethereum 2.0, whose Altair hard fork has been successfully activated<\/a>, as well as the launch of \u043e\u0441\u043d\u043e\u0432\u043d\u043e\u0439 \u0441\u0435\u0442\u0438 NEO N3<\/a> and the release of Dash Platform v0-20<\/a> in testnet.<\/p>\n

EOS, Ethereum, IOST, Tron and Tezos make up the top five public blockchains. The evaluation of the projects was conducted across three main aspects: core technology, degree of usage and innovation.<\/p>\n

In terms of core technology, the best was the IOST network; in terms of usage \u2014 Ethereum; in terms of innovation \u2014 Bitcoin.<\/p>\n

CCID is a structural subdivision of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, however this does not make it the official mouthpiece of the authorities<\/a>, according to the media.<\/p>\n

As reported, in September 2021 Chinese authorities classified cryptocurrency mining as a ‘liquidated’ industry and de facto banned crypto trading across the country<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In October, the relevant Chinese authorities began studying legal norms for consideration in courts and handing down judgments in cases<\/a> related to the trading of cryptocurrencies and mining of digital assets.<\/p>\n
