On Friday, November 5, Solana (SOL) reached an all-time high of $250.<\/p>\n

In the last 24 hours the asset rose 2.7%, in the past week \u2014 24.8%, according to CoinGecko<\/a>. At the time of writing, SOL was trading around $243.<\/p>\n

Solana edged out Tether (USDT) in market capitalization, taking fourth place with a valuation of $73.3 billion.<\/p>\n

Total value locked (TVL) in Solana-based decentralised applications is approaching $15 billion.<\/p>\n

On August 30, the price of Solana first surpassed<\/a> the $100 psychological threshold.<\/p>\n

On September 7, SOL over the 24 hours rose by more than 30%<\/a>, topping $190 and overtaking Dogecoin and Polkadot in the overall crypto-asset ranking.<\/p>\n

On September 14, 2021, in the Solana mainnet a major outage<\/a> occurred, as a result of which new blocks were not produced for more than 16 hours<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Full functionality of the blockchain was restored in less than a day<\/a> after the restart. The outage was attributed by developers to a DoS-attack<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In October, Grayscale Investments added Solana<\/a> and the native token of the decentralised exchange Uniswap (UNI) to the Digital Large Cap Fund.<\/p>\n

In the same month, the Solana Foundation, the nonprofit behind the blockchain project, opened validators to run nodes on server hardware<\/a>.<\/p>\n
