src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Enjin launched the Efinity platform on the Polkadot network in March 2021, after <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/enjin-raises-18-9-million-to-build-a-new-nft-platform\">raising $18.9 million<\/a> in a round led by Crypto.com and other investors.<\/p>\n<p>The company noted that following the recent <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/facebook-rebrands-as-meta-nfts-to-feature-in-zuckerbergs-metaverse\">rebranding of Facebook to Meta<\/a>, many, including Microsoft and Electronic Arts, announced plans to integrate NFTs and build a metaverse.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Enjin team, such a structure should be decentralized.<\/p>\n<p>The Efinity Metaverse Fund, created by the company, is intended to support startups contributing to the development of an Efinity-based metaverse.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, the fund will invest in projects that work on integrating into the Efinity ecosystem, with a focus on cross-chain solutions, blockchain games and NFTs.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cOur team will consider equity investments in early rounds of venture funding and the purchase of native tokens of a new project for potential use in our ecosystem,\u201d Enjin explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In 2020, the company launched a platform for game development on the Ethereum mainnet.<\/p>\n<p>Follow ForkLog news on <a
