According to Aron, the company will add Dogecoin support in the future.<\/p>\n<p>AMC Theatres is one of the largest cinema chains in the United States and Europe. It owns more than 950 theatres and 10,500 screens worldwide. It also operates its own online cinema.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The company <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/amc-theatres-to-accept-bitcoin-for-ticket-payments\">announced the sale of tickets for Bitcoin<\/a> as early as August, and in September <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/amc-to-add-ethereum-litecoin-and-bitcoin-cash-support-alongside-bitcoin\">promised to add support for Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Later, Aron <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/amc-ceo-adam-aron-launches-poll-on-adding-dogecoin-support\">asked Twitter followers<\/a> whether the company should integrate Dogecoin. More than 68% of poll participants voiced support. Two weeks later, AMC allowed <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/amc-theatres-the-largest-cinema-chain-adds-dogecoin-support\">to use the asset to pay for digital gift cards<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In October, the head of the company <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/amc-ceo-launches-poll-on-adding-shiba-inu-support\">conducted a similar poll<\/a> regarding Shiba Inu. The poll attracted more than 153,000 participants \u2014 over 81% of respondents supported the idea.<\/p>\n<p>AMC Theatres is not the only cinema chain offering customers the option to pay with cryptocurrency.
