We cannot say when his possible extradition to the United States will take place. The detention period for extradition purposes is a maximum of 60 days. During these days the United States must submit a full package of documents regarding the extradition request,\u201d said Ilze de Heer, spokeswoman for the prosecutor&#8217;s office.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She also noted that proceedings in the case cannot begin until the United States sends the full package of documents with the extradition request for the Russian national.<\/p>\n<p>Denis Dubnikov <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/russian-foreign-ministry-confirms-detention-of-co-founder-of-coyote-crypto-and-eggchange\">was detained<\/a> on 2 November in the Netherlands at the FBI&#8217;s request.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, three well-informed sources confirmed Bloomberg&#8217;s information about an investigation being conducted in the United States and Europe into the EggChange exchange on money laundering.<\/p>\n<p>Lawyer Arkady Buh said that his client is <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/lawyer-cites-reason-for-detention-of-co-founder-of-bitcoin-exchange-group-coyote-crypto-and-eggchange\">suspected of money laundering by Ryuk ransomware operators<\/a>.
