Dogecoin emerged as the most popular cryptocurrency by search queries in 23 U.S. states, according to research by The Advisor Coach. In second place (10 states) and third place (eight states) were Bitcoin and Ethereum, according to Business Insider<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Analysts attributed DOGE’s leadership to Elon Musk’s attention to the asset. In May, the Tesla CEO proposed<\/a> to users to vote on accepting payments in Dogecoin. Prior to that, the billionaire said that in 2022 SpaceX would launch to the Moon the Doge-1 satellite. According to him, the mission is fully funded by the meme cryptocurrency<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As of writing, the decline from its ATH<\/span> has exceeded 70%. Since the start of the year, the asset has surged by 20,170%, according to CoinGecko<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In fourth place in The Advisor Coach’s ranking was a Dogecoin clone \u2014 Shiba Inu. It led other cryptocurrencies in states such as New York, Texas, California, Washington, Nevada and North Carolina.<\/p>\n

Earlier, on 16 November, an unknown user purchased<\/a> Shiba Inu for about $8.3 million.<\/p>\n

Earlier ForkLog reported that one of the early investors in Shiba Inu, who invested $8,000 in August 2020, has already become a multi-billionaire.<\/p>\n
