The parties called this segment a &#8220;multibillion-dollar opportunity&#8221;.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cOne of the most significant problems facing the blockchain gaming industry is the absence of online wallets that would allow convenient and secure storage of in-game crypto tokens, while also providing access to financial services,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to the companies, the main growth driver for the GameFi segment is the opportunities provided by blockchain games \u2014 users fully control their in-game content and can benefit from owning it.<\/p>\n<p>Animoca Brands owns The Sandbox platform, which in November <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/nft-project-the-sandbox-raises-93-million-to-build-a-metaverse\">raised $93 million in financing<\/a> from SoftBank and other investors. Earlier, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/rothschild-family-fund-backs-nft-game-developer\">received almost $90 million<\/a> from the Rothschild family\u2019s fund, RIT Capital Partners, Huobi and others.<\/p>\n<p>In August, Hex Trust became a partner of the Philippines&#8217; largest bank UnionBank.
