StarkWare has provided Layer 2 network construction for dYdX, ImmutableX, DeversiFi and other projects.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Wu Blockchain (@WuBlockchain) <a href=\\\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WuBlockchain\/status\/1465518358581841932?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\\\">November 30, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async=\\\"\\\" src=\\\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\\\" charset=\\\"utf-8\\\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Developers can deploy smart contracts on StarkNet. They have the necessary tooling, as well as support on Discord.<\/p>\n<p>StarkNet <a href=\\\"https:\/\/medium.com\/starkware\/starknet-alpha-now-on-mainnet-4cf35efd1669\\\">represents<\/a> a permissionless solution on top of Ethereum based on Rollup.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The launch of <span data-descr=\\\"decentralized applications\\\" class=\\\"old_tooltip\\\">dapps<\/span> on this network enables unbounded computations without compromising security and compatibility with the blockchain of the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.<\/p>\n<p>At the core of StarkNet lies STARK \u2014 a mechanism that uses cryptographic proofs of execution and modern mathematical methods to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of computations. The latter are &#8216;packaged&#8217; into a &#8216;verifier&#8217; STARK off-chain for subsequent analysis by a &#8216;verifying&#8217; STARK.<\/p>\n<p>StarkNet has not yet undergone an audit. Developers warned of possible bugs that could lead to loss of funds.<\/p>\n<p>Initially, transaction fees were not provided.
