Along with the Wikipedia homepage token from January 15, 2001, for sale <a href=\"https:\/\/onlineonly.christies.com\/s\/birth-wikipedia\/strawberry-imac-2000\/141267\">\u0432\u044b\u0441\u0442\u0430\u0432\u0438\u043b\u0438<\/a> an iMac computer, from which Wales first launched the encyclopedia.<\/p>\n<p>The proceeds from the sale will go to charity and the project&#8217;s own social network WT.Social.<\/p>\n<p>As of this writing, bids stood at $2,400 for the Wikipedia token and $600 for the iMac.<\/p>\n<p>After the sale, the Wikipedia homepage will be placed online. Five minutes after it is edited, it will revert to its original state.
