The token is named Wave 1 \u2014 3\u00d73 Estate S [12,-75].<\/p>\n<p>In early December, The Sandbox <a href=\\\"https:\/\/medium.com\/sandbox-game\/the-snoopverse-land-sale-c01a3e99e7f7\\\">put up for sale<\/a> 122 standard and 67 premium parcels of virtual land adjacent to Snoop Dogg for a total of 437 103 SAND (about $2.16 million at the time of writing).<\/p>\n<p>Two more exclusive parcels were sold at auction for <a href=\\\"https:\/\/opensea.io\/assets\/0x495f947276749ce646f68ac8c248420045cb7b5e\/55464657044963196816950587289035428064568320970692304673817341583145876586497\/\\\">67 142 SAND<\/a> ($433 737) and <a href=\\\"https:\/\/opensea.io\/assets\/0x495f947276749ce646f68ac8c248420045cb7b5e\/55464657044963196816950587289035428064568320970692304673817341580946853330945\/\\\">55 125 SAND<\/a> ($356 107).<\/p>\n<p>Earlier <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/nft-project-the-sandbox-raises-93-million-to-build-a-metaverse\">The Sandbox raised $93 million<\/a> in a funding round led by Vision Fund 2 from SoftBank.<\/p>\n<p>In mid-November, the gaming platform announced <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/the-sandbox-to-launch-alpha-version-of-its-metaverse\">a partial launch of its metaverse<\/a> for a limited number of users. Against this backdrop, the SAND token hit an all-time high of $3.63.<\/p>\n<p>Back in September, Snoop Dogg <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/snoop-dogg-admits-he-is-behind-the-17-7m-nft-collection-account-cozomo-de-medici\">admitted<\/a> that he is behind the Cozomo de\u2019 Medici account with an NFT collection worth $17.7 million.
