The forecast comes from a US real estate agent, author and reality-TV star Ryan Serhant in an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/88544\/celebrity-realtor-ryan-serhant-real-estate-transactions-crypto\">Decrypt<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThere will simply be a lot of crypto wallets moving money and putting it into hard assets, buying penthouses and all that. I think we are in a unique moment in time,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to the realtor, by the end of the year he expects to close one or two such deals, and then six or seven more with the help of BitPay\u2019s crypto-processing.<\/p>\n<p>He believes cryptocurrencies will become a commonplace means of payment in the housing market, and banks should add support for them. But he thinks the time has not yet come, says Serhant.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cRight now, if I go for a mortgage and say that all my assets are in Solana, Ethereum and Bitcoin, the bank will say: \u2018Yes, that\u2019s too risky and volatile, we can\u2019t lend for that, perhaps around 25% or so,\u2019\u201d said the real estate agent.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The real estate agent also stressed that realtors cannot sell homes to just any Bitcoin wallet holder \u2014 KYC <span data-descr=\"know your customer\" class=\"old_tooltip\">KYC<\/span> [<strong>3 \u2014 desert<\/strong>], must be considered to avoid dealings with criminals or individuals under U.S. sanctions.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cI definitely back trustworthy money. At the same time, the ability to acquire cryptocurrency for buying things like a home and all that makes this process faster and easier,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As reported, an anonymous buyer <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/miami-penthouse-sells-for-record-22-5-million-in-cryptocurrency\">paid $22.5 million in cryptocurrency<\/a> for a penthouse in the Arte Surfside luxury condominium in Miami.
