Once the network is deemed stable, the corresponding tokens will become transferable, the Binance team said.<\/p>\n<p>The auction winners were <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/polkadots-first-parachain-auction-ends-acala-wins\">Acala<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/moonbeam-wins-the-second-polkadot-parachain-auction\">Moonbeam<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/polkadots-third-parachain-auction-ends-astar-wins\">Astar<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/parallel-finance-wins-polkadots-fourth-parachain-auction-slot\">Parallel Finance<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/clover-finance-wins-the-fifth-polkadot-parachain-auction\">Clover Finance<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On December 18, Polkadot said that all five parachains had begun producing blocks and the mainnet launch was complete.<\/p>\n<figure class=\\\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\\\">\n<div class=\\\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\\\">\\n<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"twitter-tweet\\\" data-width=\\\"500\\\" data-dnt=\\\"true\\\">\n<p lang=\\\"en\\\" dir=\\\"ltr\\\">After 5 years of research and development, and a multi-stage launch that began in May of 2020, Polkadot launch is now complete, with all auction-winning parachains currently producing blocks on the network.<a href=\\\"https:\/\/t.co\/V40mY3WEwZ\\\">https:\/\/t.co\/V40mY3WEwZ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Polkadot (@Polkadot) <a href=\\\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Polkadot\/status\/1472155132502622219?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\\\">December 18, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\\\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\\\" charset=\\\"utf-8\\\"><\/script>\\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>The start of a new round of auctions was planned for 23 December. Six winners will deploy their networks around 11 March 2022.<\/p>\n<p>On 20 December, the Polkadot developers launched the public parachain Shell on the mainnet.<\/p>\n<p>The last phase of the mainnet launch began in May 2021.
