Token holders can also sell them.<\/p>\n<p>AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron thanked shareholders for their loyalty and urged them to \u201cown NFTs with pride\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>AMC Theatres is one of the largest cinema chains in the United States and Europe. It owns more than 950 cinemas and 10,500 screens worldwide. It also operates its own online cinema.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In September 2021, the head of the cinema chain <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/amc-ceo-adam-aron-launches-poll-on-adding-dogecoin-support\">launched a poll<\/a> on adding Dogecoin support. Twitter users backed the idea \u2014 in October the company <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/amc-theatres-the-largest-cinema-chain-adds-dogecoin-support\">integrated<\/a> the payment of gift cards with meme cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n<p>In the same month, Aron <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/amc-ceo-launches-poll-on-adding-shiba-inu-support\">launched a similar poll<\/a> to add support for Shiba Inu \u2014 a clone of Dogecoin. More than 153,000 people participated \u2014 more than 81% of respondents supported the idea.<\/p>\n<p>In November, AMC Theatres <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/amc-theatres-the-largest-cinema-chain-adds-cryptocurrency-support\">began accepting Bitcoin<\/a>, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin as online payment methods.
