He also mentioned the favourite meme cryptocurrency:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll eat a Happy Meal on a livestream if McDonald\u2019s starts accepting Dogecoin.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The company followed with a counter-offer to Tesla to sell electric cars for the fictional Grimacecoin token.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">only if <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Tesla?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@tesla<\/a> accepts grimacecoin <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/CQrmAFelHR\">https:\/\/t.co\/CQrmAFelHR<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/to9HmYJhej\">pic.twitter.com\/to9HmYJhej<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 McDonald&#8217;s (@McDonalds) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/McDonalds\/status\/1486115285983805444?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 25, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The Grimace mascot was one of the inhabitants of the fictional McDonaldland world, which the chain used for marketing from the 1970s to the 1990s.
