{"id":56780,"date":"2022-01-28T15:33:51","date_gmt":"2022-01-28T13:33:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=56780"},"modified":"2025-09-04T08:12:13","modified_gmt":"2025-09-04T05:12:13","slug":"finma-approves-l1-digital-to-manage-collective-crypto-investment-funds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/finma-approves-l1-digital-to-manage-collective-crypto-investment-funds\/","title":{"rendered":"FINMA approves L1 Digital to manage collective crypto-investment funds."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) has authorised the investment firm L1 Digital to manage collective investment funds in digital assets. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2022\/01\/28\/investment-firm-l1-digital-receives-finma-approval-for-collective-crypto-investments\/\">CoinDesk<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p>The Zurich-based company manages about $500 million in assets from pension funds, family offices and wealth managers of high-net-worth clients.<\/p>\n<p>The licence will allow L1 Digital to offer institutional clients access to cryptocurrencies through a collective investment scheme.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in September, FINMA <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/swiss-regulator-approves-first-crypto-investment-fund\">approved<\/a> the first crypto investment fund.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the regulator <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/six-group-secures-licenses-to-launch-a-platform-for-trading-digital-assets\">granted<\/a> SIX Digital Exchange a licence to operate as an exchange and central securities depository for digital assets in Switzerland.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) has authorised the investment firm L1 Digital to manage collective investment funds in digital assets.
