Obviously, fans&#8217; opinions will help us adapt \u2014 this is our next step,\u201d said the top executive.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to him, Ubisoft anticipated a negative reaction, but were still somewhat upset. Poir noted that the massive fan response underscores their loyalty to the company and to the beloved franchises.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cI think gamers don\u2019t understand what the secondary digital market can offer them. Today players see NFTs as the destruction of the planet and a tool for speculation, but we see in them an \u2018endgame\u2019 \u2014 the ability to resell their items,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The top executive stressed that Ubisoft will integrate non-fungible tokens primarily for gamers, although they do not yet understand them. He also described this as a transition from one economic system to another, which is always difficult.<\/p>\n<p>In early December 2021, Ubisoft <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ubisoft-unveils-platform-for-trading-in-game-items-as-nfts\">announced the launch of the Quartz beta platform<\/a>, designed for trading in-game items in NFT format.
