It also includes the Taproot upgrade, previously <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/taproot-upgrade-activated-on-the-bitcoin-network\">activated<\/a> in the Bitcoin network.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-mimblewimble\">Mimblewimble<\/a> \u2014 is a protocol with broad scalability and enhanced privacy. It uses several technologies, including confidential transactions and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-coinjoin-what-is-zerolink-what-is-stonewall\">CoinJoin<\/a>, which hides the inputs and outputs of senders and recipients and aggregates multiple transactions into one.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>The MWEB solution will allow users to conceal transaction data when needed.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p>\\&#8221;This is an important next step in the evolution of Litecoin. Optional privacy in MWEB provides users with significant and necessary protection for small everyday things, salaries, or even buying a house,\\&#8221; said Burkett.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>The code for the solution has undergone an audit by Quarkslab.
