This was <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/SPbGS\/10767\">reported<\/a> by the united press service of the city courts.<\/p>\n<p>As of now, the messages have been received by the Kolpinsky, Primorsky, Kronstadt, Vasileostrovsky, Petrovsky, Krasnogvardeysky, Oktyabrsky and Nevsky districts.<\/p>\n<p>In the subject line of one letter the unknown author wrote: \u201cWill Kostya come out?\u201d. His further message is also addressed to Malofeev.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cLook at what you\u2019ve achieved with your greed and short-sightedness, and you could have settled it in 2020 at the <span data-descr=\"minimum point of asset value\" class=\"old_tooltip\">lows<\/span>, the message says [author&#8217;s spelling].\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe miner\u201d claims to have sent similar bomb-threat letters to \u201ccity courts, schools, railway stations and the orange line of the metro.\u201d In other messages, there are also mentions of \u201cprosecutors&#8217; offices, investigative committees, Roskomnadzor, Rospotrebnadzor, kindergartens, Sberbank branches and the Russian Post,\u201d bridges, Magnit stores and the Hermitage.<\/p>\n<p>No demands were made by the authors of the letters.<\/p>\n<p>As a reminder, a series of false bomb threats across the Russian Federation began in November 2019, soon after the BBC published an investigation into possible involvement by Konstantin Malofeyev and FSB officers in the theft of users\u2019 funds from the WEX exchange (the successor to BTC-e) amounting to $450 million. An unknown \u201cminer\u201d demanded $120 in BTC to be paid to him.<\/p>\n<p>Since the miner\u2019s wallet was created, 0.11 BTC has flowed to it. The latest transfer was dated June 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, the funds <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/part-of-the-bitcoins-from-a-wallet-calling-itself-wexs-miner-moved-to-binance\">went to exchange addresses requiring user verification<\/a>, including Binance, Kraken and Kucoin.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of January, unknown attackers sent false bomb-threat messages to various regions of Russia on behalf of Indefibank CEO Sergey Mendeleev.
