{"id":57857,"date":"2022-02-16T01:48:48","date_gmt":"2022-02-15T23:48:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=57857"},"modified":"2025-09-04T13:52:18","modified_gmt":"2025-09-04T10:52:18","slug":"national-police-opens-criminal-case-into-ddos-attacks-on-ukrainian-websites","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/national-police-opens-criminal-case-into-ddos-attacks-on-ukrainian-websites\/","title":{"rendered":"National Police opens criminal case into DDoS attacks on Ukrainian websites"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>National Police officers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npu.gov.ua\/news\/kiberzlochini\/naczpolicziya-vidkrila-kriminalne-provadzhennya-za-faktom-DDoS-atak-na-ukrajinski-vebresursi\/\">are investigating<\/a> a series of <span data-descr=\"distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks\" class=\"old_tooltip\">DDoS-attacks<\/span> on a number of Ukraine&#8217;s information resources.<\/p>\n<p>An investigation has been opened following a request from one of the state banks.<\/p>\n<p>A criminal case has been opened for unauthorized interference with the operation of automated systems and the mass distribution of telecommunications messages.<\/p>\n<p>A working group of specialists from the national cybersecurity system is taking the necessary measures to counter and localize the cyber attack, the National Police said.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in February, unknown attackers carried out a large-scale DDoS attack on Ukrainian banks and government websites.
