The EVM-compatible network counts 2.6 million addresses with around 1.1 million daily transactions on average. Through the Mento smart contract platform, the project supports several <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/algorithmic-stablecoins-how-alternatives-to-usdt-and-usdc-are-evolving\">algorithmic stablecoins<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Deploying Uniswap V3 on the network would involve creating liquidity pools for \u201cgreen assets\u201d from Celo, such as tokenized carbon credits.<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration is intended to spur future environmental use cases for the exchange, the authors of the proposal noted.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cOverall, we believe that Uniswap&#8217;s mission to build a robust and open decentralized financial infrastructure aligns with Celo&#8217;s goals of combating climate change and delivering universal prosperity,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As of writing, holders of 5 million <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/uniswap-launches-uni-governance-token\">UNI governance tokens<\/a> have voiced support with almost no objections.
