Investors valued the company at $1 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Gauntlet provides DeFi services with tools to optimise key protocol parameters, including capital efficiency, risk, fees and rewards.<\/p>\n<p>In a discussion with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theblockcrypto.com\/linked\/137710\/crypto-startup-gauntlet-raises-23-8-million-at-1-billion-valuation\">The Block<\/a> Gauntlet representatives said the funds would be used to broaden its lineup of supported products, including options, derivatives, and NFTs.<\/p>\n<p>According to information on the site, the company\u2019s services are used by <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-compound-comp\">Compound<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-aave\">Aave<\/a>, Balancer, SushiSwap and other well-known DeFi platforms.<\/p>\n<p>In June Gauntlet raised $13.6 million in a Series A round led by Polychain Capital. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crunchbase.com\/organization\/gauntlet\/company_financials\">Crunchbase<\/a>, the company\u2019s total funding to date amounts to $44.8 million.
